Ben Fong (HS'01)

“There are no politics in LEGO – just dreaming big, using your imagination, and getting along with others.”

Ben Fong (HS'01) never dreamed that his childhood days of playing with LEGO and creating buildings would lead him to a career. Today he works for Legend Creative Limited, an Asian company that uses LEGO to build replicas of famous buildings and landmarks for displays and educational purposes.

Bill Schwarz (HS'60)

“It makes me feel good knowing my work is being seen, making people happy.”

Bill Schwarz (HS'60) has never been one for labels and did his best to avoid being boxed into one stereotype while attending Luther College High School (LCHS). He attributes his ability to not follow the beaten path to his time at LCHS where he was encouraged to participate in whatever he wanted - whether it be academic, athletic, or artistic. Today he is both a successful commercial lawyer and a renowned artist.
