Board Bio Details

Marie Shalashniy (nee Digney) (HS'11)

Marie is the Deputy Parliamentary Counsel at the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law with a Certificate in French Common Law from the University of Ottawa. She also holds a Baccalauréat en Éducation and Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Regina. She is a former Vice Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Saskatchewan Students South Section, and her previous board experience includes roles with the Canadian International Council and the Saskatchewan Social Services Appeals Board. Along with several family members, Marie is an alumna of Luther College (HS’11).
