Non-Saskatchewan Student Dorm Fees
Dorm fees cover the cost of a furnished room with beds, desks and closets, newly renovated washrooms, and a student lounge. Dorm fees also include all meals, snacks, laundry facilties, high-speed internet, network printer access, and a residence activity fee for social activities (such as movie nights, outdoor camping, an annual ski trip, open gym time, and more).
Dorm Fees for Non-Saskatchewan students is $15,980 and is due upon acceptance.

Dorm Damage Deposit
A room damage deposit of $500 is due upon acceptance. The deposit is refunded when a student withdraws or graduates, less any costs incurred in repairing damage to the room or its fixtures, or any dorm-related charges. The damage deposit is a one-time fee and will be held over the length of the student’s stay at Luther College. Refund of damage deposit and education bond may take up to 8 weeks.
Optional Dorm Fees over School Breaks
Our dorm students are welcome to stay in our dorms over the Christmas break and Easter break periods. The number of days the student requires must be confirmed ahead of time with the Deans by the student and/or family. Optional dorm fees over school breaks are due one week before the beginning of the stay.
- Optional Christmas Stay: $75 per day. To stay over the 16-day break would be 16 days x $75 = $1,200
- Optional Easter Stay: $75 per day. To stay over the 9-day break would be 9 days x $75 = $675
