Dr. Vijaya Agasthian is an instructor in Statistics at Luther College at the University of Regina. She graduated with a B.Sc., in Mathematics from University of Madras, an M.Sc., from Anna University, and a M.Phil., in Mathematics. She completed her Ph.D. from the University of Regina in 2015 and has taught several undergraduate courses as a sessional instructor at the University of Regina, Luther College, Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic before joining Luther College as an instructor. She received University of Regina CTL Graduate Teaching Award in 2011. Dr. Agasthian’s current research interest is in Statistical Education.
