Where is Luther College located?

Luther is located on the University of Regina main campus in Regina, Saskatchewan.
 

What does registering through Luther mean?

Registering through Luther means that you are a Luther student AND a U of R student. You receive your degree from the U of R and can take classes through the U of R or any federated college. For no extra cost, you also get the specialized services Luther offers: personalized one-on-one academic advising, the small Luther community and courses, extra awards, and unique programming and orientations.
 

What degree programs can I take at Luther?

Luther students can take programs in Arts; Media, Art, and Performance (formerly Fine Arts); Science (including pre-professional programs); and La Cité Universitaire Francophone.
 

I want a University degree. Does that mean I cannot enroll through a College?

You CAN register through Luther and get a University degree. We are a federated college of the University of Regina which means that as a Luther student you are also a U of R student and when you graduate, your degree is granted by the University of Regina.
 

I am going into a pre-professional program. Will a professional college recognize the Luther program?

Yes. Luther students take University of Regina programs which are recognized by professional colleges. Many Luther students have been successful in their applications to professional schools and found they benefited from Luther’s personalized one-on-one advising, extra scholarships, small class sizes, our bundles including the English-Science Bundle, and Crime & Justice Bundle.
 

As a Luther student, will I only take classes offered by Luther College?

No. All classes at the U of R are open to all U of R students. Luther students may take courses taught by professors from the U of R or any of the federated colleges, just as any U of R, Campion, or First Nations University of Canada students may take Luther courses.
 

I am an international student. Can I enroll at the U of R through Luther?

Yes. Any student applying to the U of R in Arts; Science; Media, Art, and Performance; or La Cité Universitaire Francophone can register as a Luther student. Just be sure to select Luther College as your campus of choice on your application.
 

Do I have to be Lutheran, Christian, or religious to register as a Luther student?

No. Luther welcomes students of all faiths (or no faith), ethnicities, backgrounds, religions, genders, and sexual orientations.
 

If I register as a Luther student, do I have to live in Luther's residence, The Student Village at Luther College and/or eat at the Luther Cafeteria?

Any post-secondary student may live in the Luther's residence, The Student Village at Luther College, and anyone is welcome to eat at our all-you-care-to-eat dining cafeteria. Luther students are NOT required to live in the Luther Residence and are eligible to live in any of the residences on-campus, or select an off-campus living arrangement.
 

Does it cost extra to attend the University of Regina as a Luther student?

No. Luther students pay the exact same tuition and fees as U of R students. The U of R sets all tuition and fees.
